Somei Yuki Gallery of the Reader Collection of Japanese Flower-and-Bird Art

Somei was a student of Gyokushō Kawabata and graduated from the Tōkyō School of Painting. Later he became a professor there. His art includes the ten paintings of flowers and (or) birds shown here. Click on a picture to enlarge it. He used the nihonga style for these paintings.
